I’m a certificated flight instructor offering practical, professional instruction for students and rated pilots. My focus is building confidence, strong fundamentals, and helping people feel more capable in the cockpit. By background, I’m a mechanical engineer and former Engineering Officer on ocean-going vessels, where I developed a deep appreciation for systems, discipline, and real-world operations. Along the way, I never let go of a childhood passion for aviation. It’s been a constant thread through a career that’s taken me around the world. Now based in California, I’ve found there’s nothing quite like flying here; from coastal fog to mountain air, it’s one of the most dynamic and rewarding places to learn. Sharing that experience with new pilots just getting started or seasoned aviators sharpening their skills is what makes this work truly special.
